Q. What is Clip the Deal and how it can benefit me?

A. Clip the Deal (CTD) is a digital-deals mobile platform that has been built on latest, best-in-class technology. It can help you get real cashback by providing you live information on various discounts on your frequently bought products. Clip the Deal can be used at more than 400 stores across UAE.

Q. Which platforms does it work on?

A. Clip the Deal is available on both iOS and Android and can be downloaded from their Global stores

Q. Does Clip the Deal work on the iPad or Tablet?

A. Clip the Deal works on all Tablets and iPads.

Q. What type of discounts are available on Clip the Deal?

A. Clip the Deal offers discounts on various daily use and grocery items available at our supported retailers. Currently, we cover categories like Personal Care, Health and Beauty, Beverage, Packaged Foods, Pet Foods, Dairy and Bakery etc.

Q. Where can I get the cash back using Clip the Deal?

A. The discounts on our app can be availed at our supported retailers like Choithrams, Lulu, Union Coop, Sharjah Coop, Al Ain Coop, Nesto, Safeer, Manama, KM Trading, Al Maya and many more. For a list of all the supported retailers, go to the ‘View Retailers’ section of your app.

Q. How does Clip the Deal App work?

1. DOWNLOAD App from Google Play Store or Apple App Store and register using a valid email address.

2. Once logged in, CLIP the items you are interested in.

3. Purchase the selected products from any of our supported retailers.

4. At partner retailers like Choithrams, generate the barcode to get Instant Cashback.

5. For other retailers, scan and submit the receipt. You will get cashback in your in-app wallet within 2 working days.

6. You can withdraw your savings from the wallet using the available withdrawal methods. This normally takes 2 working days

Q. What are the withdrawal options available on the app?

A. Currently, you can withdraw your savings on Clip the Deal platform in the following 2 ways. We process all requests in 2 working days.
1. Bank Transfer to any Bank account in UAE
2. Mobile Credits to any Etisalat / Du prepaid or postpaid account

Q. Is there a minimum amount that I need to have before I can initiate a withdrawal request?

Each withdrawal option has a minimum threshold at which the request can be initiated. Currently, the minimum is AED 50 for Mobile Credits and AED 100 for Bank Transfer.

Q. Are there any charges for the wallet withdrawal requests?

A. Withdrawal requests for Mobile Credits are free of charge while Requests for Bank Transfers have a fixed fee of AED 10 per request irrespective of the amount. The fee is deducted from your requested withdrawal amount and balance is credited to your bank account.

Q. How can I register my account?

A. You can register your account using Facebook or by simply entering a valid email id and suitable password, plus you need a verified phone number

Q. How will I know whether Clip the Deal discounts have been applied?

A. For premium partner retailers, like Choithrams, you can see the cashback at the bottom of the receipt [Insert Pic]. For others, you will receive a notification on the app once the receipts are processed and cashback applied [Insert Pic].

Q. How long are the deals valid?

A. Please read the Deal Details for the validity of the Deal. If nothing is mentioned, then the Deal is ongoing and we will inform users via app notifications of the same.

Q. How many deals can I have in my basket or redeem at the same time?

A. There is no limit to the number of different deals that you can add to your basket or redeem at the store.

Q. How many of the same deal can I redeem in a single transaction?

A. The number of deals that can be used per transaction are mentioned in the Terms & Conditions of the Deal. In case nothing is mentioned, then there is no limit on the usage per transaction.

Q. Do I need to register to redeem the deals?

A. Yes. The website allows you to take a sneak peek of the types of coupons available with us, without having to register. However, to use the application, it is required/mandatory to register using any of the registration methods.

Q. What if I forget my password?

A. On the login page, there is an option to reset the password. Once selected, an email with step by step instruction to reset the password will be sent to the registered email id. Remember that email ID has to be valid.

Q. How do I check my transaction history?

A. You can view the history in the home tab (Hamburger Button/ Show Button). Your profile with “Redeemed Deals” “Total Savings” and “Savings in wallet” will show up. Select Total Savings

Q. Is my information safe?

A. Clip the Deal runs on a highly secure server that ensures that your information is kept confidential and secure, at any given point in time.

Q. Do I need to keep my Location services on?

A. Clip the Deal provides a unique feature that offers mobility and flexibility in your decision-making as it gives you the option to choose the best offer based on proximity to the nearest store. The 'Retailers near you' section can show you the nearest retailer as per your location. Q. What are the best practices for using Clip the Deal?

A. Here are some simple guidelines on how to verify and get the most from online coupons:

1. Only use a valid email address, you might need it in case you forget the password. Note: The savings in the inaccessible account would be unaccountable.

2. The phone number will be verified on your first receipt submission and transfer requests. So, please use a valid phone number.

3. One number can be used for one account only.
